Getting my first 10/22 on Monday. It is a Deluxe SS with a great piece of wood. What scope ring/base combination would you put on it that will:
1) keep the scope mounted low to the barrel
2) not have a long one piece base or rail on the receiver
I will mount either a Leupold VX-2 LR 2-7 x 33 or a Burris FFII BP 3-9 x 40 on it.
