Today I just remembered my best handgun shot. Back in the 1990's I used to go rabbit hunting a lot. The only firearm I used was my Freedom Arms .454. Any jack rabbit within about 110-115 yards was dead meat. Like the snipers say, "One shot one kill."

One time I saw one sitting up clear on the otherside of a "bowl" near Christmas VAlley, Oregon. I put the crosshair about a full rabbit above the center of the jack. The 300 grain XTP center punched its chest. I stepped it off at 206 long steps.

John Lachuck once told me I was the best shot he ever hunted with. Sometime we get lucky.
