Yes I still use irons.Under most hunting conditions irons are no handicap. I use peeps and open sights, I like the peep better cause my eyes are don't focus as well on that open blade like they used too!! I like the peep on my main elk rifle a M54 Win. .30-06 with a 20 inch bbl. it's light and carries well.
