Jericho said Sako used FN Mauser actions to make rifles. Then Dirtfarmer talked about "Sako action guns" listing higher than the FNs. I'm so confused.

I remember that some Browning Safari rifles had Mauser "long" extractors, and some had Sako "short" extractors. Is that verbiage correct? Did FN make both style actions for Browning rifles, or did Sako make some of the Brownings? We may be zeroing in on the truth here, but I'm still a ways from understanding.
