I've been using one for several years. If you follow JB's recommendations, & use TAC with magnum primers, you should be pleased with the results.

Expect a bit over 2500 fps with 225 gr bullets, & 2400+ with 250 gr bullets. My rifle prefers the 225 Sie, but does quite well with the 225 Barnes & 225 Partition. The Sp 250 HotCore & 250 Grand Slam (no longer made) are also very accurate.

This is a light rifle with a skinny tube, so don't let it heat up. I usually keep groups to three shots, then cool off.

The .358 is a powerful & effective hunting round. Penetration is usually a complete pass through, with a large wound channel. It kills elk very dead, very fast.

W-W does intermittent runs of brass. If you check the main suppliers, you can usually locate some. I've never had to resize .308 brass.

I think you're going to really like this cartridge. The best of luck with it.
