There are 3 reasons why I think 748 doesn't cross to anything else:
1) Hodgy says so
2) It performs differently than similar powders (BL-C(2) is an example of a very similar, but less flexible, powder)
3) The 'factory' number for Winchester 748 is WC748.
How do I know #3? That's what is stamped in red on the outer, sealed, Winchester-labeled shipping boxes of the 8-pound containers I get from the UPS man.
