My son has a remington 700 300RUM and has shot factory 180gr Scrocco's in it. Very accurate. The problem I have is that I wanted to reload some of this once fired factory brass. (100 pieces) It is no good. Primer pockets are so loose that I can place a primer on the table and seat them by just pressing the brass lightly down by hand. Are the factory loads that hot? Have bought some new brass to load and they seem fine. Will have to re-evaluate reloading for this rifle if the brass will have to be scrapped after one shot. What kind of case life are others experiencing? I realize it's not going to last like my 308 but wow.
