I bought an XCR in .300 Win Mag maybe last year? which has what seems to be the same stock as the SPS. Using an electronic Lyman trigger pull guage, which is hard to be precise when used as a scale because any twitch adds nonexistant weight, I thought it was a fluke when I came up with 26 ounces.

Today, I bought a short action (.243) stainless SPS and weighed the stock... 27 ounces! The old BDL synthetics from several years ago went 36 ounces using the same techniques/ scale.

My two ADL Ti stocks go 25 or 26 ounces, best I can remember for comparison.

Overall weight was 6 lbs 14 oz for the .300, and 6 lbs 10 oz for the .243.
