I was hunting the Gunnison area and did not see any Elk. Three of the guys in my group saw 5 on Thursday after 4 inches of snow fell. They were about 10,200 feet close to a private ranch. Found some fresh tracks from 5 Elk on Friday that crossed a main road at about 10,300 feet. I will have to eat tag soup this winter.
