The Miroku 1895 is a very good choice, whether Browning or Winchester suits you. The .405 is fun to shoot and does kill big game:

WRT load data, it is not the most common, but there is a lot out there if you search for it. I load the jacketed 210, 300, and 400 grain bullets with very satisfactory results. Used the 400 grain Woodleighs on the beastie above.
