I agree with Bob on the SSC.... In my 280 AI, the plain 7828 gave me a little better speed, 10 fps ES and 3/8" groups. This was with 160 gr Accubonds and WLR primers in Winch nickle cases. When I tried the SSC the pressure was up and I had to back about 2 gr to get a safe load and the accuracy was not as good and speed was down some. I have tried the SSC with the Hornady Amax and the gun didn't really like that either. I have about 7 1/2 pounds I would trade for the equal of 7828. The 7828 really started to shine when I got to the last 1 grain of powder for a max load. Speed jumped up, ES really dropped and Accuracy was great.
