Went out with a couple of buddys on Saturday to shoot past 1000 and get the data solidified.

After shooting at 1250 and solidifying data, we moved to 1 mile or 1760 yards verified by the Vectronix. We are shooting at 18X 34 plates with some pretty good right to left wind at 10 mph. Neither my Creedmoor or my .300 had enough elevation travel to get there, so maxing out the travel and then holding over a little more was in order. Makes it tough to be precise with the target in the lower left FOV of the scope trying to hold over and out from the reticle.

None of the shots made an impact at 1 mile even though they were damn close; so close we were calling them hits through the spotter.

We moved in 240 yards to 1520 and the .300 had enough travel to get there. I was able to put 5 rounds on the plate.

It was quite interesting to see how shooting at that distance really uncovers load problems. Vertical stringing loads are not your friend at long range.

LOL!
