If it isn't very expensive to upgrade to a smartphone, take a look at the iPhone. I'm really liking my iPhone 4s. I had a Blackberry for years and it took me all of 20 minutes to get used to the touch-screen and the camera is awesome; lots of photo apps available as well, almost an "industry standard" for mobile photography.
