So, are beans OK?
Sure beans are ok in chili if you like them. As long as they are added to the bowl and not NOT NOT cooked into the pot of chili. As a condiment to chili, beans rank right up there with cheese, fresh onion, ripe olives, crackers, chopped hard boiled egg. Chili its self is not a bowl of vegetabel stew though. It is a meat dish.
