Plan on going to the Fishing Expo at Wilmington Expo center at the Saltwater fishing school 16 March. Cost is $150, but I walked out with two rods, one reel and at least 10 hard lure baits and 6-6 packs of soft baits as door prizes and give aways. Plus free years subscription ot NC Sportsman magazine. Well worth the time and money. Guides from all over eastern NC give 1 hr discussions in breakout seminar rooms, lessons learned, how to, where etc for their specialty, such as trout, flounder, redfish, deep sea trolling, grouper etc. you pick which ones you want to go to and you get 8 hours worth. I am going back again this year.
