Scopes on lever guns....something's just wrong with that! Ghost ring with a big ivory bead still works well for me! Yes, will cover up bullsye at 100 yds, but not much of a disadvantage when you're shooting at the Bull's these 45/70's were made to shoot at. Just my opinion!!
