Several years ago I was in the market for a decent Rimfire bolt rifle....and having enjoyed my Savage 111FL I'd made my mind up if I were to buy a new bolt rifle, it was going to be a lefty. After looking around, I found the answer...an Anschutz. It was so nice to have this option. I made my deal with the dealer and waited for the gun to arrive. Several weeks later I picked up this Anschutz Model 64 L MP R. Not a high-end target gun but good enough to peel the heads off grasshoppers at 50 yards (gotta use decent ammo). It's now my favorite "lounge at the range" rifle. I could probably improve its performance with a better scope, but so far, I'm happy with the accuracy AND the left-handed bolt.

Worth a look if you are like me and enjoy semi-precision shooting on sunny day.
