I have/had both the Mini and the Wildlife.

Sold the Wildlife because it was too much of an inbetweener grin.
Too big for backpacking and too small for car camping- the Small Forest will solve that.

As far as an aftermarket sheath I would go kydex.
The blade won't slice through it, it will firmly retain, and won't hold moisture like leather...
