I don't have a 3.5x10, but I do have a Vari-XIII 4.5x14 that I use on my Model 700 VS. Without a doubt, it's the best scope I own (the others are Vari-XIIs which are damned good, too). In general, I think the Vari-XIII line is the absolute best line of scopes for the money (someday I'll spring for a S&B, Kahles, Zeiss, Swarovski, or Leica).
