The pictures posted look just like my 7600 in .300 Savage which was a 300 piece run put out by Grice Gun Shop. Also have one of their limited run .35 Remingtons but that one wears a black plastic stock and both are great shooters.
My .35 Whelens are both bolt guns. A 700 Classic and an 18 1/2" barreled Savage 110 with an ER Shaw barrel. I load the 220 Speer FN in the shorty 110 with H335 @ 2550fps. Also like the HDY 200 Spire point, and Remington 200 pointed Core-lokt. Really haven't found a bullet that won't shoot great or kill deer dead! The Whelen my 358 Winchesters and my 350 Mag are just hammers from hell on deer.
