I was in Dick's last night and was thinking about buying a SS ADL in .243. Got to thinking, rifle for $500 (nobody told me about discounts/rebates), then $300 for a B&C stock (yeah yeah should be a McMillan), then $150 for some BDL bottom metal and I was actually looking at a $950 rifle. I can just buy a 700 Mountain SS for less than $900 so where's the deal really?
And yeah, their shenanigans after Sandy Hook should not be so easily forgotten, remembering that ended any further pondering of mine.
