Given that I was issued "Mickey Mouse" boots courtesy of my Uncle Sam they did have air valves and came in both black and white. The air valves were there because depending on the temp the warmth of your feet could cause them to over inflate thus the need to bleed off some of the air from time to time. To us "Bunny Boots" are just big old kinda sorta white boots with a felt liner. But then, I'm down here.
