I have killed deer w/a 357, though at 2050 mv 158 JSP from a rifle, 1300 is one thing with a 358 bullet, but I would like to see how much frontal diameter you have with an LRAB at that speed, as you have too low of speed for much hydrostatic shock to occur.
Folks must determine their 'Floor impact speed' with a given bullet. Obviously it's subjective as to what works well or not. Do not get me wrong I do like the bullet, but am not sold on it being substantially better than the AB, w/o further info.
In watching a video on the Nosler site, they show what expansion looks like down to 1900-2000........
