Lots of good suggestions and the one in the classified ads looks most tempting but I'd like one that weighed a tad more. I know the 7-08 probably doesn't kick near as much as my 270 but a 7 lb or so rifle would be good. I'm not familiar with the A7 Sako but will look into that one. So far none found in Savage. I'm not much into synthetics. I'm a "woody" type of guy.
