Yeah, sometimes I would agree. I had the Remington 600 in my hands to pay for it, but it seems the price had jumped $100 from when I first looked at it, and the safety was not functioning properly, though I was assured this was a simple fix. While milling this around I saw the Ruger for a very decent price, and I love mannlicher stocks. I have a Tikka 12ga/.222, so I thought I'd give the .243 a try. Once in a while ,I kick myself for not taking the Remington.
