I've gotten the itch to get a higher end 22lr. I currently have a cz453 American and it shoots amazingly well. There are some aspects of the cz that really irk me, namely the high azz bolt throw. The Cooper classic looks like exactly what I want but doubt I could justify the cost. How about the anshutz 1416? I have zero experience with them but they seem to be highly regarded and reasonably priced. What say you? How does the 1416 fair with bulk plinking ammo?
