The SSII is my everyday bullet. At 180 grain in a 30-06 I have taken elk, white tail and pigs. Ranges from 50 yard to 324 yards. None of them went more than 15 yards most fell within 5 or less yards. No issues with accuracy, in fact tried all the premium bullets and the SSII grouped the best for me. As far as "pencil through" it would only be considered to do that if you use a mushroom for a pencil, in my experience.
