I have both (and also the Swaro hd) and the edg glass is equal to the APO Leica and swaro hd, better than the non-apo Leica. Slightly better color in the nikon than the Swaro hd and the APO Leica.
Nikon is heavier as was mentioned, for the ultralight purist it isn't the ticket, the televid or ATM/STM Swaro is.
The edg has a nicer focus wheel than the Leica, ala the Swaro.
The edg doesn't get the love of the euros due to it's enormous price tag. It's a helluva optic, one of the best in the world.
