My SERE wasn't about water survival but how many ways can you make bugs,worms and lizards tasty.. FWIW lizards don't taste like chicken.

The first half of the course was a fun camping trip. Glad I don't have to ever do the resistance phase again, though.
Grasshoppers have a nice nutty flavor, just make sure you rip their legs off before throwing them down.
