FWIW, 70 gr of Varget drives the 500gr Woodleighs 1975 fps out of the #1's 26 barrel. Accuracy is still good; I will continue working up as I'd like to see the 500's make at least 2100 fps. Woodleigh suggests impact velocities of 1800-2200 fps. As best I can estimate the BC, starting at 2100 leaves a 100 yard velocity of 1875 fps, which is in the recommended range.
