I had a coversation about this yesterday. Someone said "they should ket those hunters go in there and get done in one day what the cops haven't done in two weeks"
My response was this. They aren't so much worried anout a hinter contacting Frein, as they are a hunter stumbling on a booby trap left for him. Let's face it we all think we are Hawkeye from the last of the Mohicans, sneaking through the woods, noticing every little broken stem of grass, when in reality most of us are more like Homer Simpson, repeatedly hitting our heads off of big branches..
The other thing about these searches is that they ain't law and order or criminal minds. In other words it aint over in a Hollywood hour. They have to be done methodically. And coordinated, not only to find the subject but to preserve any possible evidence.
