I was hunting north of Gillette, right on the state line. Units 17,18 and 34 I think. My guide Lee glassed up a heavy 3 point with a possible kicker and we were headed to check him out. We were driving to get into a better position to see him, when we looked a ridge over, and this buck was standing there watching us. Threw my pack on the hood and launched one at him. High shoulder, a close range follow up put him in the truck.

The antelope shot was fun. He and his flock of ladies, and another stud buck, hung out in an upper hay field. We made a move as he was bedded. Slipped into a gully to get the wind right and ended up close to getting busted. Belly crawled a good 200 yards thru waist tall grass. Managed to get within 235 undetected, sitting on sticks I put one into him as he was bedded facing away from me.
