My friends trigger wouldn't adjust below 5 pounds. He sent it in for them to fix it and when it came back, it could be adjusted to 3 pounds. He's alright with that, but if it were mine I'd be shooting for a good solid 2.5 pound trigger pull. In all, his rifles function great now and shoot very well. For the budget shopper, I think it's still a great rifle for the money. Maybe we should start a thread about the budget rifles and see which one gets the most votes. Here's how my list would look:
