I read The thread below By Jordan about performance on elk but I am interested in reviews and experience using this bullet for deer. I hunt with a 7mm Remington Magnum mostly over Agri fields . shots could come anywhere from 50 to out past 500 yards. I try as much as possible to shoot for getting at least one shoulder. Curious for experience from those who have done it what is going to happen if I shoot a 200 plus pound Whitetail buck in the shoulder at short range( 50 to 100 yards)? Is it going to blow up on shoulder with no penetration to speak of or ?? I assume it is as good as it gets for 400 Yard plus shots expansion wise? My deer hunting is over for the year just planning for next year and very curious and interested in this bullet for whitetail hunting.
