4th_point Campfire Tracker 4 Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 4,874 Oregon	The recoil pin on the OEM rings started to migrate (i.e. push right through the ring body) on my Finnish Tikkler in 300 WSM. Replaced them with Maximas for $30. For a 223 or 243 I wouldn't worry too much about the OEM rings. I'd worry even less about spending $30-40 for Maximas... once and done.
