2006 Ford 1 Ton Dually
My son called today asking if I needed any help with some projects I was doing, which at the time I was welding up the frame work for Andrews's bench. About an hour later he shows up with a 2006 Ford 1 Ton Dually, 4x4 Crew Cab, Power Stroke Diesel, Long Bed, with lift kit installed and gas shocks. The thing is running 35x12.5x17" rubber on Alcoa Aluminum, and has all the goodies, Leather, Sun Roof, Running Boards, Hard Cap and Carpeted Bed. Tires have some mean looking tread, you wouldn't think they would fit on a dually, but it has some 3 or 4" spacers between the rear wheels. It's painted a deep-deep gloss black, and the heavy-duty trailer package came with a 15,000-lb. 2-1/2" receiver hitch. He has always had a knack of finding some good deals. This truck was pre-owned with a total of 11,000 miles on it, and was sold as is with full warrantee. Said he gave $40,000 for it at 5.9% for 6 years. So now he finally has a decent rig to pull the enclosed cargo trailer with dune buggies to the desert.
I don't know what there going for now already fixed up like that, but it sounded like a pretty good deal.
