I remember as a kid in SE nebraska it getting 40 below..only for a day or so..
I did a job in delta junction AK a few years ago and finished up nov 25 at -42 tough working outside at that temp..
I remember as it was gettin colder we looked at the bank digital thermometer on the way to work in the morning. The first day it hit -20 we stoped to take a picture to send to the office to show what we were going through. I looked over at the gas station ad this guy was pumping gas in shorts, a Hawaiian shirt and flip flops on.. He must not have seen the temp.....man those guys are tough up there...
