I'm sure some of the 'fire would argue with him too. I honestly don't think that anyone is more in touch with this stuff than the BR crowd. It's funny to shoot with fellas that get pissed about 1/4" groups.

I listen, but ain't never touching that stuff. Buddy gave me a little tip yesterday about setting up dies. You can take it with a grain of salt, but made sense to me.

When he finds the depth he wants his dies to be he'll place a steel "block" (steel ruler or something perfectly flat) on top of the shell holder, run the ram up to meet the die base, then tighten the lock rings. Says it keeps stuff square.

Funny thing is I asked him about which run out gauge he liked and he said.

"It's called Wilson dies"


and you might be surprised at how many of them FL size their schit too...
