As a looney I have other rifles, but basically only hunt with one of them already-

-LH M70 Classic action trued/bridges ground/trigger-safety worked/Williams extractor
-22" FW contoured SS Shilen SM .308 1-10 chambered in 3o-o6 Springfield
-Williams Orberndorf bottom metal
-McM Hunter's EDGE

-scoped with a VX3 2.5-8x36 mounted in S&K lows

-shoots 150 & 168 TSXs very well and they have worked OK so far... wink

-Elk, bear, sheep, and the occasional deer of opportunity.

Only thing I'd change with the setup- add LRD reticle to the scope if it were available in the 2.5-8...
