The oil in Alaska belongs to the People of Alaska. Under their State Constitution, they own their oil, gas, and mineral resources.
And for the intellectually abbreviated idiots; this is why Alaskans receive a Permanent Fund Dividend check each year.
For years they were ripped off by Big Oil and their cronies in Juneau and Washington.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA
* Section 1. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to read:
ALASKA RESOURCE REBATES.
(a) To provide residents of the state with an Alaska resource rebate, the amount of the 2008 permanent fund dividend shall be increased. After calculating the amount of the 2008 dividend under AS 43.23.025, the commissioner of revenue shall add $1,200 to determine the total amount of that dividend.
(b) Subject to appropriation, the amount necessary to increase 2008 permanent fund dividends under (a) of this section shall be transferred from the general fund to the dividend fund (AS 43.23.045).* Sec. 2. This Act takes effect immediately under AS 01.10.070(c).

In reference to your other "facts", yes, a decade ago she was wildly popular with Alaskans, in general. I voted for her in the gubernatorial election, and was pretty disgusted with her performance by the second year. Luckily, she quit.
It's obvious that you have some perverted crush on the former governor, but you're allowing all the blood to rush to the wrong head. She is a good looking lady, no doubt. But her qualifications are severely lacking on the National and International front, that is reality. Prior to her VP nod, her "Global" experience went no further than flying to Seattle regularly to shop.
Relevant to her "image", she is all talk, and very little substance. Abstinence? You are aware, I'm sure that lil' Sarah got knocked up and eloped with Todd, prior to Track being born, yes? And as we see with her spawn, the beer cans don't fall far from the trailer.
