There are three that stand out in my head and it's a close call as to which wins.A pre war 30/06,all original that I bought when in my late teens and so "clean" it looked brand new in the LGS rack.Serial # 50,189 which I remembered all these years.
Or more recently a SG 264 Win Mag,that a widow sold to a friend and I ended up with it.
But the winner would be a 270 remodeled and stocked by Len Brownell for Bob Chatfield-Taylor and used by him on hunts here in NA with JOC and in Africa. I bought it from his son.Wish I had that one back for sure.
