Silver rings and/or bases are permitted if either action or barrel are silver. As noted above by 2muchgun, a silver scope on a walnut-stocked, stainless rifle looks okay, but it's like waving a hunk of tinfoil around in the woods. I would feel self-concious about it. BTW, the stainless and walnut M70 Featherweights and various Rugers are very handsome. Last edited by Pappy348; 04/05/15. What fresh Hell is this?
