Yeah...I set him up...I set up the rifle...I set up the ammo, hell I even gave him the dial up, and his load shot 10 MOA flatter to boot!
Weren't hardly fair at that point!

As handicapped as he was with a superior load, I still managed to pull it off...it's all about me!

But seriously though, keeping a new rifle that close around the black at a grand...ain't too shabby!
Nothin at all wrong with the 270 at range with a good bullet. It'll stomp all over a 308 in the wind and give the 30-06 a good run for it.
