yepper.....one more time with feeling!! A very numb feeling.

First time winning the Cup at home since 1938. Chicago is going to have another fire tonight.

Only time I ever saw that Cup in person was in 1999. And the Wings took it away in 4.

Saw it here in town twice. Once when Dan Bylsma, Head Coach of the Penguins, brought it and went salmon fishing with it. They put a life jacket on it. The white glove guy was a little freaked out.

Justin Abdelkader brought it when the Wings last won it. Good kid, know his uncles real well. I went golfing with him and he could hit the ball a freakin' mile.

I grew up watching the Blackhawks on WGN Chicago n the 60's and 70's

very cool... 70's and 80's the north stars, the blues, and the dead wings were my most hated teams. Lucky enough to watch the Portland winter Hawks! BTW, Portlands jerseys were Blackhawk hand me downs..

While I'm in the minority for Canucks in that I don't really follow hockey, we were pleased at our house to see a local boy Duncan Keith win the Conn Smythe trophy.

He attended the same high school that our girls graduated from and a signed jersey is hanging in the library - along with ones from Andy Moog, Brett Hull and Ray Ferarro to name a couple others that went to school here.

Anyway the other bit of local trivia is that Duncan's wife Kelly Rae Keith is the daughter of one of the two brothers who founded the construction company my good wife has worked at for over 25 years. She's known Kelly Rae since she was in elementary school - through work of course but it's still a bit of a connection.

It seems that Duncan has a good work ethic anyway which is always good to see.

Thank you and I hope l is well with you and yours. Sir you are an anomaly. Lol. Duncan Keith is a class act and a world class player. Your hometown should be proud. I grew up immersed in the game. I have such good memories of your country and the folks I've met.

When I was a young lad I could cross the border with my gear in the back and nothing more than a "where ya skating and how long will you be?" Not so easy anymore.

Way to go BlackHawks !
Class players and organization. Rocky Wirtz deserves a lot of the credit !
Anybody want to hear how the National Anthem should be sung, give a listen to Jay Cornelius of the BlackHawks proudly sing it !!!!!
