We had a big fishin' tournament in Port O'Conner, TX every year...it was all a bunch of dudes from Pearland mostly. A significant number of em' were very overweight, and they had surgical scars on the inside of both legs where the doctors has stripped their saphenous veins out to do their double quadruple cardiac bypasses over the years. Laughin', drinkin', smokin', and eatin' all the fried kingfish and hush puppies one could stand. Good times.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

Well, call me a daisy... Montana – Spirits are regulated by the state though beer and wine may be sold at grocery stores so long as it is < 16% ABV. Above that wine must be sold at state controlled stores. On-premise sale is limited to 2 A.M. vs Texas – Sale is not controlled by the state. On-premise sale 7 A.M. to Midnight or 2 A.M. Beer can be sold Off-premise from 7 A.M. to Midnight Monday – Friday, 7 A.M. to 1 A.M. Saturday, and Noon to Midnight Sunday. Hard liquor can be sold 10 A.M. to 9 P.M. Monday – Saturday. Beer and wine can be sold in supermarkets. Alcohol > 15.5% ABV require additional licensing and on-premise beverages sold on Sunday between 10 A.M. and Noon must be accompanied by food. VS. Arizona – No alcohol is state controlled in Arizona. Sale is permitted from 6 A.M. to 2 A.M. Monday – Saturday, 10 A.M. to 2 A.M. Sunday. Drive through liquor stores are legal.

Prohibition doesn't work on any level. There's lots of "dry" counties in Texas. If anyone thinks that stops the consumption of alcohol within that county, please raise your hand... All it does is make the Baptists feel better on Sunday morning...

I like the tag situation in Mt better than Az. Fishing is no contest, Mt. But the private land issue, I haven't quite gotten used to in Mt.
Got any leads on a couple good backpacking trips for the summer, perhaps with some high mountain lake fishing along the way?
