I killed my first buck over 40 years ago up on those mesas, camped in the old 1800s homestead cabin or what was left of it, my buddy still tells how ridiculous I looked carrying that buck out on my shoulders as we wanted to hang it up whole so everyone could see... It weighed more than my 140 gutted.

I did some of this earlier this week: The fresh cut hay made for great shooting practice for Wyoming out to 400! Life is good... Then vacation... I'm extremely blessed that way... Not as distant as your own New England like we did last year, but Hocking County in SE Ohio where we rented a cabin for the week.
