$1500 is a little out of my 'mad money' range.

No one has them. We are still waiting. If I didn't already have two #1's in 6.5x55 I would be all over this like green on a grasshopper.

For some reason, I could never warm up to those. I like the little Blasers a bit more, possibly because they appear to be a bit trimmer overall. I really like the stainless Hawkeye RSIs, but opportunity and finances never seem to get in sync for me on those.

Off topic slightly: Did Ruger ever make a K1A in 6.5X55? I own one in .257 Roberts that was spooky-accurate right out of the box. Photos below. Steve

I have two of the Lipseys 6.5x55 stainless/walnut number ones, so, yes they made them. My paperwork says 263 produced.

They made a 1A version in blue/walnut, the K1A's that I have been fortunate enough to acquire are tough to find anymore. If you can find one I'd grab it.

K1-A 7.62x39mm 262 2003, 2005 K1-A 257 Roberts 282 2005 K1-A 35 Whelen 245 2006 K1-A 6.5X55mm 263 2007 K1-A 250 Savage 250 2011 This is the calibers, numbers produced, and years manufactured. The only one I have kept is my 6.5X55MM. I think it is the perfect combination also. Mitch

Anybody seen a 2015 6.5x55 RSI yet, or is that still one for Mythbusters?

No, but it should be soon. Lipseys just sent me two #1A's in 7mm-08. These are the first of the 2015 #1's, hopefully the other chamberings will be soon to follow.
