Bender, you have over-bid, sorry, but you do not win the NEW CAR!! As always, thanks for playing! (notice I refrained from bidding, as I didn't want to pay taxes on my prize.)

I'm no longer on the BOD. Current board is not running the raffles.

Watching folks try to guess the weight of king salmon is always pretty entertaining.

Nice fish.

Or guess the weight of anything else. I remember a coyote I shot that weighed less than 20 pounds and some folks were guessing all the way to 50+ pounds!

Better than kings though is yelloweyes...

Always fun filleting rock fish, you wonder how such a big fish provides such small fillets.

The lateral line is a dead giveaway on king size. Can't make a lateral line look more pronounced no matter how much camera trickery is involved.

Depends on who is doing the fileting.

I watched an idiot very carefully and methodically turn a sockeye into two-10oz filets.

Should have gotten a wanton waste ticket, IMO.

It’s obvious that most guys here are trying way too hard. That’s a dead giveaway that most of them are not serious fishermen. That fish has to be at least 60# by now in any serious fishermen’s eye/mind/memory.... smile

Did he take the ‘backstrap’ filets, or the ‘flank’ filets? ‘Twould be a real shame to include any bones in such carefully ‘shanked’ filets. wink
