The Ashe County Wildlife Club’s 2015 Joe Young shotgun sports tournament is on for Saturday, August 15, starting at 9:00 a.m. The Joe Young Memorial Shotgun Tournament will feature 25 shots of skeet, 25 shots of 5-Stand, and 50 shots of sporting clays. Practice rounds from the wobble pyramid will be available. Individual entry fee is $50.00 per shooter or FREE by selling a $100.00 sponsorship which includes a lunch of barbecued chicken with all the fixings. Some prizes will be available. Plaques will be awarded to the winners.
The club is located in northwest North Carolina and is approximately 2 hours from Roanoke, Va. or 4 hours from Knoxville, Tenn. or 3 hours from Charlotte, NC.
