Talley mounts and Montana sling are worth something....style point wise. I will probably use this deuce, which has neither...

Perfect excuse for one of those safari shirts with the cartridge loops over the breast pocket.

I guess from what Dan said there is only 1/2 hour of darkness you'll be facing, so you may not need to gear up with lights etc... Though I already have a kill light, and Im bringing it! A kill light would have been right handy at this year's hunt in the 1/2 hour of darkness. I'll bring one next time.

Ingwe, Go to 7X Leather, look at wrist ammo cuff, I use them with all my #1's fastest reload with a single shot and really easy to use. Rio 7

I will probably use this deuce, which has neither... Matte finished metal, and Circassian wood? I don't recall seeing that variation in the .222 before.

The pic just makes it look matte...its polished blue. And the wood is about as straight grained as you get...nothing fancy.

I was actually gonna make a joke about the wrists cuffs...but I guess I wont now.... They actually do make sense but the only thing important that this gun will be used for is pigs. Experience has taught me when the gun goes off, you have a LOT of time to put another bullet in it before another pig shows up.....they scatter like Mofos!

Sorry, never thought of a leopard skin wrist cuff, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Rio7

I'm in if you guys will have me. If there's room, I'd love to bring my son. He'll be 24 and loves to hunt. He's a good shot. Don't tell him I said this, but he's better than me. But that's not saying much.
Just need to know about the deposit. When, where, and how much.

Very nice 200 yd. group for a #1. What treatment for the forearm bedding situation? Naw, that thing won't kill a hog... It's just a .22... DF

.222 is an amazing round, no doubt.
But, looks like you hit the jackpot, won the Lottery with that gun. In my experience, they don't all shoot that good without tweaking the forearm.
